I’ve always wondered that about baby carrots too! Just be careful you don’t eat TOO many though…I once had a friend who turned orange from eating too many carrots. I have caught myself wishing that I had NO internet access; life would somehow be simpler in a way. So I guess the grass is always greener on the other side! or is your grass still white with snow? Miss you!

  3. What you should do is write a bunch of posts and then use the timing feature in Wordpress to have them show up when you’re not able to post them! :)

Definitely ‘baby carrots’ so called from the packages in the grocery store are machine carved that way.
My dad and I used to plant carrots every year in our back yard vegie patch. (I feel like planting some this year!) Peter Leclerc plants them and they last through the winter in Qualicum – I’ll ask him his method of wintering them. Peter snacks on them every week as we are driving to rehearse in Nanaimo on Mondays. Sometimes he lets me eat a few too! yummy! I love carrot juice when it is fresh~

They are both grown that way sometimes, and big carrots cut sometimes. haha I’m such a loser. Miss you and hope you will have a warm bath and a phone to call me soon,
