A BAT IN THE HOUSE THE FIRST TIME WASÂ A NOVELTY.
A BAT IN THE HOUSE THE SECOND TIME, WHEN YOU’RE REALLY TIRED AND JUST WANT TO GO TO BED, IS NOT MY IDEA OF A GOOD TIME.
GOOD NIGHT.

We couldn’t get the bat out, and eventually we lost sight of it. We just closed our bedroom door, hoped it would leave from whence it came, and I slept like a baby.
It’s bizarre how quickly one can adjust to country life!

A bat house would be a good idea – they eat insects. Google where to place it.
Cam can build on easily! No doubt.

The easiest way to get a bat out of a house is to turn on all the lights in the house except for the lights in one room. The bat will automatically fly to the the dark room, usually it will hang in a corner or on a curtain. Grab a bucket cover the bat with the open end of the bucket trapping it in the bucket against the wall, slide a magazine or news paper between the open end of the bucket and wall then you can escort your wing-ed guest outside.
