ooh, I’ve been looking forward to hearing how this Agricultural Fair was, ever since you told me you were going! I guess this being a ‘ploughing match fair, it did not feature dozens of varieties of chickens, which is what I really enjoyed at the Coombs Agricultural Fair, here in BC. You would be amazed at the different colours, shapes sizes, and feather-types that are what are known as: chickens! love, mom

moments later – oh, I linked to the Fair, and I opened the Poultry page, and yes, they probably did have lots! Hope you got to see them! love, mom again.

Yes, we saw lots of amazing chickens! Some with the most fantastic feathery “hats” and feathery “shoes”! They were incredible. Lots of beautiful other birds, such as ducks and geese and doves, too.

Some day I hope to have chickens of my own!

That is too funny. When I got the ad at our house, about this event, the first and only person that I could see attending it was you! and you went!! Thanks for the pictures…I went as a child but haven’t been since then. I wish you had of joined in the wife hollering contest, sounds like fun!
