Person 1: “Let’s have gourmet pasta for dinner, shall we?”
Person 2: “Pasta sounds good, but there’s one problem.”
Person 1:Â “And what problem is that, pray tell?”
Person 2: “Our one and only pot is upstairs in the attic catching rain.”
Person 1: “Oh. Right. Corn flakes for dinner?”
Person 2: “I’ll get the bowls.”

Oh, man, can I mail you guys another pot or something? Actually, that’d be a pretty pathetic abuse of the postal system. Just try to find a used one somewhere, okay? :)

Okay, I know you like cereal Cam, but really with all of your hard work you need to fuel up! Get a pot and eat up!!

hehe, I know you’re doing this on the cheap, but surely you’ve got some empty paint cans or even a propped-up plastic bag that could catch the rain instead?
Last year we had water dripping into the basement through a crack in the stucco (wind-driven rain). I setup a piece of plastic to funnel the water into a piece of 90 degree drywall corner trim set on edge, which ran it 10′ across the room and into the laundry sink.

Lol, okay, okay, I exaggerated a tiny bit for dramatic effect, but the gist of it is true!
Mostly, we were both just too lazy to head up into the attic and swap the pot out for another bucket. :)

Ah, so it was a combination of low pot count and end-of-day-can’t-be-bothered-ness? That’s all right, then. :)

I like the Title “Cornflakes for Dinner” as the title of your book.
