Stumbled across your blog about 2 months ago, and I've slowly enjoyed every post. I really hope to hear more from both of you again. Absolutely amazing blog, and I thank you for letting me follow along in your journeys!
I hope to be road tripping it out to PEI next year, and I have definetly taken down some of your must-see ideas ;)
thanks again.

I see the strain in so many people, where they want to love and love well, but they don't have "the time". I am so encouraged by you two, that you saw what was priority, love, and found a way to follow that, even when it sometimes didn't make "sense'. I thank God that we don't always have to be "logical", in other people's minds, and that we can pursue what is place in our hearts. Kudos to you, and thanks for sharing. It was posted a long time ago, but but is my most favourite so far.

Very nice to find your site.

I've been thinking a bit about moving to PEI. I'm in Vancouver and I hate it. I want friends and to be around friendly people, a quieter life and more peace. I suffer from severe anxiety sometimes, and quiet and stillness helps. Plus, I want to stay in Canada for the healthcare, but there's no where else in Canada I can think I'd want to live.

I travelled to PEI in late September several years ago; I stayed in a friend's friend's cabin near Port Rustico, but saw Charlottetown, Cavendish, and other areas. As I'm single (and 36) I think I'd want to be near people, thus probably in Charlottetown.

How is PEI for making friends? Do people end up leaving because they can't find enough singles? I know Halifax would have more people and more singles, but it's not the same to me. I don't want to be lonely where I live, and Vancouver is so lonely and no one wants to spend any time getting to know others and invite people into their lives.

I lived in the USA a while, in the midwest (Kansas City), and might again because of my friends there and the friendly people, but the healthcare situation there is awful. I'm not sure I could live in the USA again.

What do you think about making friends in PEI?

Oh how I've missed your blog and I was glad to see this update. I know we are worlds apart in our lifestyles and (ahem) ages but we have a common thread in that we left urban living for a simpler, healthier lifestyle.

I quit my work-from-home dream job turned ultimate nightmare so it's a transition time for me. Your post was timely as it encourages me. I have plans, passions and ideas up my sleeve and I'm working on what it will take for me to do what I love and make a modest living from it.

You're right that life IS good... challenging for sure but overall GOOD! Despite being jobless, we're sitting pretty with a mortgage free home and still staying debt free. I'm eyeing early retirement so I need to persevere for four more years until I can know for sure that life is manageable... but I'll still need to pull in some income but without too much pressure.

I have just stumbled across your blog and am finding it so empowering! What a lovely adventure of following your dreams :) If only everyone could learn to give up the junk and pare their lives down to the blissful necessities and start enjoying the little things like time.

thank you for taking the time to write this!
