It's a reflection of what's going on with me lately, I guess. Now that we're here and "living our dream" as I like to say, I feel that I've been taking our life for granted. Like, the dream has become the new normal, and I am not as excited about it as I once was. I don't like that, and I want to go back to my original enthusiasm.

Me too! Surprisingly enough, I like to express my love through writing--emails, notes, cards, and such. And I don't cook much, so when I do it's a total expression of love.

I like it too. I love our body language. It seems very old fashioned to me. It was taken in front of a museum in Victoria, BC.

It is all about taking the time to make those moments. Life can get busy. We're learning that we have to schedule some of those moments because otherwise they just don't seem to happen. We're trying to go out for dinner once on the weekend, because we both enjoy doing that. We've been going for curry at the Churchill Arms in Charlottetown lately.

That sounds like a delightful way to spend a weekend. Is there anywhere (relatively) nearby your place where you can recreate your experiences, I wonder?

We make the little things anything at that we do together. Like grocery shopping, I dance in the aisle and sing the words to my hubbie who can't hear them. We hug and kiss and hold hands.
Whenever we are together we make it special.
Life is full of tiny little moments.

Ah, yes, it is difficult to remember to do all the little things that really do mean so much.
Love the reminder and lets all try to take heed.
I used to leave little notes in hubby's lunch box or somtimes tucked into a rolled up pair of socks tucked into his drawer.
