Hi Laura-Jane!

I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago and have been obsessively reading ever since! It’s been a great way to keep me entertained during my night shifts at work, and I was sad to realize tonight that I’m finally up-to-date and will now have to wait for you to post instead of reading at my own leisure :)

I’ve been trying lots of new food lately and found an amazing little place today in downtown Charlottetown called the Maple Grille. I had heard lots of great things about it before but have never eaten there before until today. My boyfriend and I went and we both ate for just $23 and the food was amazing – I had honey dijon chicken breast with roasted baby red potatoes and veggies, my boyfriend had butter chicken flatbread pizza with Caesar salad. I highly recommend trying it out next time you’re in town during the day (we’re planning on going for dinner soon but apparently the dinner prices are a little pricier).

Thanks again for entertaining me during some long nights; I can’t wait for the next update from Whimfield :)

I read Freda’s account of her PEI visit and was heart warmed that they enjoyed their visit to the Prince Edward Island Potato Museum.

Having been a resident of Unionvale near O’Leary in the late 80’s I was actually part of the original board that created the museum.
