Home sweet home!
I am back home after spending 16 days in transit to British Columbia and back home again to Prince Edward Island, Canada. While away, I took four planes, two ferry rides, and experienced numerous bus escapades.
All I can say after arriving back is thank heaven for home sweet home!
Although stepping back off the plane onto the runway was, in a word…cold!
I came home and lay on our hearth to get warm.
How long before I get my PEI weather legs back again?

Hi L-J
Welcome home!!!
By the way I got to attend one of those business (day long) training sessions in Charlottetown yesterday. (at the Delta)
I even got to sit at the same table as a couple of those Credit Union women that I mentioned in my comment a few blog posts back.
I did find it a rather long day as the session went from 9 am till 5 pm with only 45 minutes for lunch and two ten minute brakes. Then with travel and another two hour meeting when I got back to Montague I was ready to turn in as soon as I walked through the door last night.
It is great to have you back home and happy to hear that the trip went well even though the reason for going was a sad one.
Smiles :o)
Gary
ps It usually takes me a couple of days to get acclimatized and over the jet lag after visiting the West (wet) Coast.
Welcome back, Laura-Jane…glad to hear your trip went well. And the forecast here is for a great deal warmer temperatures from Saturday: http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/pe-5_metric_e.html . Next thing you know, it’ll be spring and time for even more chores…
Glad you made it home safe & sound. Miss you already!
Glad you made it back without any problems. Ill wait for you to come again before I eat any more sushi. Of course you know I’m lying , but it’s the though right? ha Anyway, Sending all my love… Toni

Welcome back to PEI, Laura-Jane!
Ah yes, the return to winter from paradise.
If everyone back home keeps gloating about their daffodils, I’m going to scream!
Sounds like a whirlwind trip! Glad you’re home safe.
